Take a guided tour of the buildings, discovering the prominent role the gaol played in the state's history. Originally a hiring depot for convicts and gaol, the building was constructed in 1858 and was in operation until the late 1980s.

The Old Gaol Craft Centre forms part of the Bill Sewell Complex, a magnificent group of buildings, one of which operated as the Victoria District Hospital for many years.
