Three friendly goats and a contented cow graze the grassed areas of the property. Nine free range chooks lay fresh eggs daily.

The Historical Aircraft Restoration Society Aviation Museum (HARS) holds open days showing off some of the unique aircraft held at its headquarters at the Illawarra Regional Airport at Albion Park. HARS is now home to the 747-438 "Longreach" Qantas Passenger Jet, which will be part of the permanent static display at the museum. The open days will be held outside the HARS hangars and will involve the static display of some its distinctive aircraft. The Tongarra Bicentennial Museum was opened in 1988. The Museum collection includes artefacts significant to the history of Shellharbour from their Aboriginal heritage, first settlement by immigrants and the developments of their recent history. Some interesting artefacts include the pioneering and historical exhibits with the Victorian Automatic Sock Knitting Machine and Handmade Patchwork Quilt; a large collection of early maps and panoramic photographs of the Shellharbour Local Government Area. There is also a bronze bust of Caroline Chisholm, who is known as 'The Immigrants' Friend', who helped to settle families in Shellharbour during the 1840s.
