Our Gallery offers a unique display of photographic material from our resident photographer and author "The Beach Dweller". Book signing's can also be arranged by appointment. The surrounding area of Ellendale was heavily timbered in bygone years, and today you will find many a fine example of local Tasmanian timber work & crafts on display. The Cafe offers the opportunity to warm yourself by the wood fire and savour a coffee whilst perusing the local wares. A selection of delicious light meals is available for those with an appetite. The view to the Mountain may even inspire a stroll through our town to soak in the history, including the two churches with fascinating graveyards of pioneer families of the district or to the local picnic grounds where you can play a game of tennis or partake in a BBQ on the banks of the Jones River.
